Pilot plt. adj. Damian Dumitru crashed at Buzău with his Hawk plane from 1000 m. Several days before, still at Buzău, Slt. Gh. Constantinescu crashed in the same conditions, with a training plane.
Out of 12 Hawk planes owned by the Romanian aviation for practice, 4 crashed.
