In 1929, Mircea Cantacuzino leaves with 5 pilots trained by him, to bring 3 new planes from Germany. These planes followed the route Stuttgart - Prague - Lemberg - Chernivtsi - Bucharest and were piloted by Mircea Cantacuzino, Ioana Cantacuzino, Constantin Sidery, Lucian Levy, Ionel Cociașu and Nicolae Poulieff, performing the first formation raid of tourism aviation. The planes carried the Romanian flag along 2300 km.

On May 20, 1930, Lucien Levy became the instructor of the aviation school. It begins with a series of nine students, three of whom receive their diploma issued by the Big Ruler of Alba Iulia.

He participates in the celebrations of the Sokols in Belgrade on Ioana Cantacuzino's plane together with Ionel Cociașu. On this occasion, they were made members of the Yugoslav Aeroclub. On their way back, they attended the meeting in Timișoara, returning to Bucharest via Brașov.
