FN.305 a fost o consola monoplan, cu arip\u0103 \u00eenceat\u0103, construc\u021bie mixt\u0103. Coada cu tren de aterizare, cu principalele unelte rerulate spre interior. Acesta a fost alimentat de un piston cu\u00a0 motor de 200cp \u00een linie pentru Fiat A.70S (149kW). Prototipul a fost un tandem cu dou\u0103 locuri, cu un cockpit \u00eenchis. Acesta a fost destinat s\u0103 produc\u0103 ambele variante cu un singur scaun \u0219i dou\u0103 locuri, urm\u0103torul prototip av\u00e2nd un singur loc, pentru antrenamente de lupt\u0103, urmat de un prototip cu dou\u0103 locuri formator de baz\u0103, ambele av\u00e2nd cockpiturile deschise.
