Octav Oculeanu, \u0219i ob\u021bine, \u00een 1930, brevetul de gradul II, devenind astfel prima femeie brevetat\u0103 din Rom\u00e2nia. Chiar dac\u0103 \u00eentre 1931-1932 s-au ob\u0163inut performan\u0163e \u015fi se organizeaz\u0103 Conferin\u0163a Federa\u0163iei Aeronautice Interna\u0163ionale la Bucure\u015fti, \u0218coala \u201eMircea Cantacuzino\u201d trece prin cea mai grea perioad\u0103 din existen\u0163a sa, afl\u00e2ndu-se la un pas de desfiin\u0163are. Situa\u021bia se datora, \u00een primul r\u00e2nd, crizei economice interna\u021bionale, care automat a avut repercursiuni asupra cotiza\u021biilor \u0219i dona\u0163iilor.\u0218coala \u00eens\u0103 nu s-a \u00eenchis, nici chiar dup\u0103 decesul lui Mircea Cantacuzino, \u015fi, \u00een pofida greut\u0103\u0163ilor financiare, a func\u0163ionat condus\u0103 de Ioana Cantacuzino, care astfel a devenit prima femeie \u00een Rom\u00e2nia administrator al unei \u015fcoli de avia\u0163ie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen 1933, sprijinit\u0103 de vechii colaboratori, Ioana Cantacuzino deschide cursurile \u015fcolii cu un aparat propriu plus un avion primit de la A.R.P.A.. Amenajeaz\u0103 la Bucure\u0219ti un sediu al asocia\u0163iei unde organizeaz\u0103 \u015fi dezvolt\u0103 o bibliotec\u0103 de avia\u0163ie \u00eenceput\u0103 ini\u021bial de Mircea, fondul de carte fiind pus la dispozi\u0163ia publicului. \u00cen scopul promov\u0103rii aeronauticii, Asocia\u0163ia \u201eMircea Cantacuzino\u201d ia parte cu avioanele sale la diferite mitinguri aeriene. Apare prima competi\u0163ie turistic\u0103 organizat\u0103 \u00een Rom\u00e2nia, \u201eCupa Tempo\u201d, patronat\u0103 de ziarul cu acela\u015fi nume sprijinit de Asocia\u0163ie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen 1940, \u015ecoala \u201eMircea Cantacuzino\u201d este desfiin\u0163at\u0103 \u00een mod abuziv. Ioana Cantacuzino se retrage la Castelul C\u0103lim\u0103ne\u015fti, unde, dup\u0103 r\u0103zboi, este constant supravegheat\u0103 de Securitate.
